GIVING BACK
LITTLE ANGELS OF MYSORE
LITTLE ANGELS OF MYSORE
We started Little Angels of Mysore, a nonprofit organization, back in 2012 when we were visiting a school in a small village in India and realized that their access to a proper education was very limited. The students in the local middle and high school only showed up to school for the one free meal they were served everyday. The outside walls were made up of barbed fences, they barely spoke English despite learning it for the past few years, and they had little to no drive to continue their education. Growing up in the states, we realized how important education was to us, and we wanted to share some of the passion with these kids. We raised 1000s of dollars by partnering up with different organizations such as Krispy Kreme to fund new equipment previously damaged by water storms, school supplies such as desks and computers, and more teachers to inspire the need for education.Â
